Helping your partner to understand How do you feel. (baby blues/post partum depression)

men need help to understand how a women feel about life. sometimes we get so upset becouse we think taht they just dont understand or ignore what are we going trough. BUT

HAD YOU THOUGHT.... that he might need some help to  LEARN to understand how do you feel???

TALKING: It is the best way of communication.  finding the right place and moment of the day to do it, can be a lot better.

explaining how do you feel, might help you and him also.

DONT OVER EXPECT: we can expect men to GUESS what a re we thinking or feeling, we have to tell them or let them know somehow.
sometimes its hard to talk, but maybe a note, letter or email. ANYTHING!! will be better than just not communicating.

GET HIM INVOLVED IN YOUR RECOVERY. Let him be part of it. ask him to go to a counseling or at least tell him how did your doctor's appointments or counseling went. LET HIM KNOW.

STAYING TOGETHER. this can be an aportunity to get CLOSER to each other.
someone has to give the first step or say the first word, even when we know for sure that our partner it is just not helping or even trying to make things better. It can be a good idea to let him know that we are aware that this is not easy for him either, but as a team or partner. YOU CAN GET OUT OF THIS TOGETHER.

if he is just NOT GETTING IT at all. you can ask for help from friends,a doctor, counseling.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ASKING FOR HELP.
There is a reson why specialist, counselors and doctors are there for us. we are their clients and they sure know what to do and how to do it. :)
